1. Honoring Doherty: A Utah ski resort recently honored former US Navy Seal and Winchester resident Glen Doherty, according to a Skiing Magazine report. Doherty was one of four Americans killed in a terror attack at the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya on Sept. 12, 2012. Doherty was a former Navy SEAL working for a private security company while living near San Diego.

3. Winchester forecast: There is a 30 percent chance of precipitation, with snow a possibility Wednesday, with temperatures peaking at about 42 during the day and dipping to a low of around 33, according to the National Weather Service's forecast for Winchester.
