'Backburner' to Play Concerts on the Common This Week

Concerts on the Common has returned and completed its first concert in the series last week despite rain and cloudy skies overhead.

The Concerts on the Common series is part of the Winchester Recreation program and is sponsored by several local organizations, including Winchester Savings Bank, Winchester Cooperative Bank and Fells Hardware.

The series will feature a number of different musical genres and artists. This week’s concert will feature local band, Backburner, covering classic rock hits and popular songs. Despite the less-than-cooperative weather, the Java Java Band performed last week.

The Concerts on the Common series is free to attend and begin on the Common at 6:30 p.m. every Wednesday.
