Cor Unum Meal Center Prepares For Return To Sit-Down Dining Service

The Order of Malta made a gift to the Cor Unum Meal Center to finance a new commercial dishwasher.

On June 30, 2022, the Order of Malta made a gift to the Cor Unum Meal Center of Lawrence, Massachusetts, to finance the purchase of a new commercial dishwasher in support of their vital operation. With nearly a quarter-million meals served per year, the equipment will be an important element in the Meal Center's return to providing a sit-down dining experience to hungry residents this fall.

The Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, of Rhodes and of Malta is the world’s oldest order of chivalry, having been founded in the year 1048 at Jerusalem.
