Middlesex DA Issues County-Wide Alert on Water Safety

After recent drownings have occurred in Massachusetts, the Middlesex County district attorney is responding with an alert.

In light of recent drownings across the state, including in Framingham where a 10-year-old drowned in a family pool, Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan is issuing a county-wide alert on water safety on Thursday, July 30.

Ryan will be joined by Stoneham Police and the Stoneham Fire Department who will demonstrate a simulated drowning and rescue operation, as well as members of Action Ambulance and the Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham & Wakefield. The demonstration takes place at 11 a.m. at Spot Pond in Stoneham.
