Police Logs: Students' Wallet, iPod Stolen

The following information is supplied by the Winchester Police Department. These do not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, May 30

8:02 p.m.: A teenager reported a wallet was stolen while he was playing basketball at the basketball court. There was a driver’s license, $10 bill, $50 Nike gift card and a debit card. When he reported his stolen card to Bank of America Thursday, a representative informed the teenager someone had attempted to use the card the night before at a Gulf gas station in Woburn, Mobil gas station in Stoneham, CVS in Wilmington and 7-11 in Woburn.

12:30 a.m.: An iPod was reported missing from an unlocked car parked on Shore Road after the . The teenager reported the iPod along with “555” brand cigarettes were missing when he returned Wednesday night. The items had been left on the in the open on top of the passenger console.

11:07 a.m.: A Toyota Tacoma was towed from Washington Street in front of the after the driver parked the pickup truck in a restricted area. The responding officer later learned the vehicle’s insurance and registration was revoked. Citations were served to the driver on scene.
