Reminder: Winchester Transfer Station Opening Tuesday Nights
Beginning tonight, the transfer station's hours were extended after a 2014 vote of approval by the Board of Selectmen.

Beginning tonight, Tuesday, July 21, the hours of operation for the Town of Winchester’s Transfer Station have been extended.
The Winchester Transfer Station, located at 15 McKay Ave., will be open on Tuesday nights until 7 p.m., extending its hours of operation by four hours, the town said. The station’s hours were extended following a November 2014 vote of approval by the Board of Selectmen.
“We’d like to give residents an additional opportunity to bring their trash and recycling on a weeknight if they can’t get here on Thursday evening or Saturdays, which is the busiest day of the week,” Jay Gill, Director of Public Works, said in a statement on the Town of Winchester website.
