WEATHER UPDATE: Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued for Winchester
The National Weather Service warned of heavy rainfall and frequent lightning throughout the region.

Rain, rain, go away! The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for the region today, citing a chance of thunderstorms producing heavy rain.
Weather forecasters are calling for a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 p.m., some of which could produce heavy rain. Monday is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a high near 82 degrees.
The hazardous weather outlook issued, which includes southeast, central and northern Middlesex County, states scattered showers and thunderstorms will persist. There is a likely threat of heavy rainfall and frequent lightning.

Additionally, localized urban and poor-drainage flooding is possible and threats of small hail and gusty winds are possible, according to the National Weather Service.
Conditions Monday night are expected to be mostly cloudy, with a low around 67 degrees. The chance of precipitation will drop to a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms tonight.
