WEATHER UPDATE: Weekend Weather Forecast in Winchester

After a wet and rainy Friday, Winchester residents might be looking at some comfortable weather on Saturday.

Saturday weather forecasters are calling for mostly sunny skies, with a high near 76 degrees. The weather, however, will shift as the day progresses. The National Weather Service is calling for a 40 percent of showers between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 a.m.

After pleasant weather on Saturday, the NWS is calling for a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms on Sunday, mainly before 3 p.m. The rain is expected to continue through the day, with a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before midnight.

The high on Sunday is expected to be near 78 degrees.
