Winchester Community Flu Clinic Coming Up

The Winchester Health Department in cooperation with the Jenks Center, will be holding flu clinics this fall.

WINCHESTER, MA — The Winchester Health Department in cooperation with the Jenks Center, will be holding flu clinics this fall. The flu vaccine is an important step to reduce flu-related illness and the overall impact of respiratory illness during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year, three clinics will be held at the Jenks Senior Center. The first clinic will be a High Dose Flu Shot Clinic for people 65 years and older, on October 7th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 550 doses of High Dose Flu vaccine have been ordered by the Health Department. Any remaining doses will be offered at the subsequent community clinics.

In order to attend the Senior Flu Clinic, you must have an appointment and face coverings/masks must be worn. Please go to: www.jenkscenter.org to register or call the Jenks Center at 781-721-7136.

The two community flu clinics are for the General Public, age 6 months and older and will be held on:

  • October 21 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. (Registration opens October 7th)
  • November 5 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. (Registration opens October 22)
