Winchester to Hold Final Flu Clinic Wednesday
The clinic will be held in the Pond Room at the Jenks Senior Center.

The Winchester Board of Health will be holding its final flu clinic of the season.
The clinic will be held in the Pond Room at the Jenks Senior Center on Wednesday, Nov. 18 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. It is for all persons age six months and older.
Three formulations of flu vaccine will be available: seasonal flu shots, FluMist nasal spray for non-pregnant, healthy people between the ages of 2 and 49, and High Dose flu shots for those age 65 and older.

High-Dose Flu vaccine is a flu vaccine that produces a much stronger antibody response in this age group then the standard seasonal flu shot. A total of 110 doses of High Dose Flu vaccine will be available.
Residents are asked to bring all insurance information with them, as most insurances will cover the cost of the flu vaccines. For those not covered by an insurance listed below, there will be a cost of $10.00 for the seasonal flu vaccines and $38 for the High Dose.

- Medicare Part B
- Neighborhood Health
- Network Health
- Tufts Health Plan (now pays for High Dose)
- Unicare
