Winchester Man Sentenced For Filming Underage Girls

The man was known by his victims as a parent in the community.

WINCHESTER, MA — A resident pleaded guilty to multiple charges of secretly videotaping underage girls.

James Fantini, 56, was sentenced to two and a half years in the House of Correction for three separate incidents in which he filmed unsuspecting 15-year-old girls while they were doing things such as showering and undressing.

The situation came to light when girls became aware of Fantini’s cell phone while changing in a hotel bathroom in June 2024. The incident took place while Fantini was chaperoning a soccer tournament in California. Huntington Beach detectives then were able to acquire Fantini’s phone in which additional incriminating videos were discovered.
