The Winchester Sachems varsity football squad opened their season with a blowout win over the Wilmington Wildcats on Saturday afternoon at Knowlton Stadium.Winchester dominated the ground game on their way to an impressive 29-6 win. Running back Samuel Casey found pay dirt on two occasions and quarterback Liam Fitzpatrick scampered for a pair of his own touchdowns.The Sachems defense was equally impressive, allowing just six points over the course of 40 minutes.
