2021 Absentee And Early Voting By Mail Ballots Available In City Of Woburn

A voter may also vote by absentee ballot in the office of the City Clerk.

Absentee and early voting by mail ballots are available for all eligible voters citywide for the Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. A written application must be filed by all voters seeking to vote by either absentee or early voting by mail ballot. Ballots may be mailed to voters upon written request. A voter may also vote by absentee ballot in the office of the City Clerk.

The deadline to request an absentee or early vote by mail ballot, is October 27, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. The deadline for filing an application for an absentee ballot in-person in the office of the City Clerk is Monday, November 1, 2021 at 12:00 noon.

To be eligible to vote by absentee ballot, the voter must be out of the city during the hours the polls are open, have a physical inability to get to the polls, or have a religious belief that prohibits the voter from voting on election day. Unlike the absentee voting, you do not need an excuse or reason to vote early by mail.
