UPDATE: ARREST LOG: Police Say Man Failed Sobriety Tests "Miserably"
An excerpt from the Woburn Police Department's Feb. 11-13 police log. The following arrest information was supplied by the Woburn Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The following is an excerpt from the log. Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log.
Feb. 11 –
- At 5:33 p.m., Arthur W. Webber, Sr., 48, of 97 Allerton St. in Lynn, was arrested and charged with operating while under the influence of liquor. According to police, the Mass State Police had received several reports of a car operating erratically on Route 93. Woburn Police attempted to stop the car on Montvale Avenue, after approximately one minute of using the siren and air horn, police were able to stop Webber’s car on Green Street. According to the arresting officers, Webber agreed to perform field sobriety tests but “failed miserably.”

- At 3:49 a.m., Christina Marie McMaster, 21, of 24 Campbell St., was arrested and charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. McMaster was pulled over when she reportedly swerved into the opposite lane of Salem Street, almost striking a police cruiser. The officer activated his siren and lights, and attempted to pull over the vehicle. McMaster pulled into the driveway of 24 Campbell St., with the cruiser directly behind her. According to police, while the officer was writing a citation for her, McMaster began walking toward the cruiser and said she “was all set with [the officer] and no matter what ticket [he] wrote, it would be fixed.” Police stated McMaster became enraged and began yelling that the officer was “on an ego trip and that she would have [his] job.” McMaster reportedly pushed the officer. According to the reporting officer, McMaster continued to struggle while handcuffed, causing her to fall twice on ice in the driveway. McMaster was placed in the cruiser and brought to Woburn Police where she was booked. UPDATE: According to court documents, McMaster has been placed on pre-trial probation until March 2012. The disposition means that McMaster's charges will be dropped after the probationary period.
- At 1:15 p.m., William J. McKnight, 25, of 3 Carlida Road in Melrose, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class B drug (cocaine). Justin R. Kady, 29, of 90 Perkins St. in Stoneham, was arrested and charged with larceny from a building and possession of a Class B drug (cocaine). According to police, officers were dispatched to the Holiday Inn Select for a report of a larceny from an employee’s purse. Police observed a video surveillance tape of the theft and were able to identify the suspect’s face. Hotel employees informed police of the suspect’s room number. Officers knocked on the suspect’s door and heard “running footsteps inside the room and a lot of scrambling,” in addition to “the toilet flushing multiple times.” A hotel employee used a key to open the door, but the chain was latched, which forced officers to push the door in. When police entered the room, they found Kady standing defensively in the room, refusing to follow police orders. Kady was handcuffed. An officer entered the bathroom and found McKnight, fully-clothed, standing in the shower. He was also handcuffed. After taking both men into custody, Woburn Police found several small corners of plastic baggies, consistent with storing cocaine, as well as a phone book with a partial line of cocaine on it. Police also reported finding a spoon and bottle cap with cocaine residue.
- At 8:53 p.m., Robert James McTague IV, 25, of 6 Brown Place, was arrested and charged on an outstanding warrant from Cambridge Court, as well as operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. According to police, McTague was arrested when police ran his plate during a routine uniformed patrol on Main Street.
