Boyfriend Of Slain Woburn Woman Charged With Murder

WOBURN, MA — The boyfriend of Sherell Pringle, the Woburn woman found dead last month, was charged with her murder Tuesday in Lynn District Court.

Bruce Maiben, 44, of Lynn, was ordered held without bail at his arraignment Tuesday, the Essex District Attorney’s Office.

Maiben was previously charged with larceny over $1200, tampering with evidence and obstruction of justice.

Judge Jean Curran entered a plea of not guilty on Maiben's behalf Tuesday.

Maiben is accused of murdering Sherell Pringle, 40 of Woburn.

Pringle was reported missing after she did not return home from a date with Maiben on Dec. 18. Her body was found Dec. 21 in the marsh off Route 107 in Saugus.

Maiben was represented by Attorney John Morris. All people are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
