A nationwide set of vigils is marking its 10th anniversary this year near the anniversary of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.
WOBURN, MA — Woburn area community members will gather next month to honor victims and survivors of gun violence with a vigil, State Rep. Rich Haggerty announced on Tuesday.
The vigil is set for Dec. 10 at 4 p.m. at the Woburn United Methodist Church. Though taking place in-person, the vigil will also be live-streamed via Facebook.
Haggerty this week advised those interested in attending the upcoming vigil to fill out an RSVP form for the event generated by the Everytown for Gun Safety Action organization.
