How Much Rain Fell In Woburn On Thursday?
Showers may linger into the afternoon on Friday, forecasters say, as a cold front brings more rain to Massachusetts.
WOBURN, MA — The National Weather Service released rainfall totals early Friday morning for a day of stormy weather on Thursday, showing large portions of Eastern Massachusetts received well over one inch of rain.
Where some of the state’s highest rainfall totals were concentrated in Bristol County, Woburn still saw more than an inch of rain, with 1.04 inches as of 12:40 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.
Forecasters warned of heavy rain and gusty wind beginning on Thursday. A flood watch took effect for areas west of I-495 on Thursday evening before officials also enacted a wind advisory to take effect overnight for coastal areas.
