• Pelham man charged with swindling investors out of more than $330,000 (unionleader.com) — One of the alleged victims in a New Hampshire securities case lives in Woburn, where regulators say a Pelham man’s firm took hundreds of thousands from four investors and failed to deliver promised returns. State officials accuse the company of operating as an unlicensed Ponzi scheme and are seeking restitution, fines, and investigation costs, while giving the accused 30 days to request a hearing.
   

• ICE arrests in Mass. courthouses tripled this year. Attorneys say it's impacting local cases (wbur.org) — Immigration arrests at Massachusetts courthouses have nearly tripled this year, and Woburn District Court is among the locations with the highest ICE activity. Defense attorneys, court officials, and advocates describe how arrests in and around courthouses are disrupting cases and scaring witnesses, while some law enforcement voices defend cooperation with ICE and lawmakers weigh new limits on courthouse arrests.
