ICYMI: 'Lookout' During Deadly 2010 Kohl's Robbery Pleads Guilty
Scott Hanright pleaded guilty to the second-degree murder of John Maguire, and was sentenced to life in prison Wednesday.

The entire Woburn community was rattled back in 2010 when a Woburn police officer died in the line of duty for the first time in history.
On Wednesday morning, Scott Hanright, the alleged lookout during the armed robbery that led to the death of Officer John Maguire, pleaded guilty to 22 counts related to the incident, including second-degree murder, according to WBZ. Maguire was a Wilmington resident who served on the Woburn police force for 34 years at the time of his death.

The same source explains that Hanright has been sentenced to life in prison, and will be up for parole in 25 years.
Maguire was killed when a handful of men attempted to rob Woburn’s Kohl’s Department Store at gunpoint on December 26, 2010. Following the incident Hanwright, 19 at the time, from Wakefield, was charged with first-degree murder, as well as armed robbery, while Kevin Dingwell, 51, of Wakefield, was charged with accessory after the fact.

Hanright, 19 at the time, allegedly participated in the heist thought to be orchestrated by Dominic Cinelli. The latter individual, Maguire’s likely shooter, also perished via gunshot wounds during the incident.
