IMAGE GALLERY: Signs of Mourning at Police Station

As the sun shone brightly on the Woburn Police Department Monday morning, the physical signs of mourning began to appear at the police station on Harrison Street.

Black memorial bunting was placed on the large, gold Woburn Police badge that adorns the doorway of the station, and the flag continued to stand at half-mast. 

Details surrounding Officer Jack Maguire's memorial service were being made inside, as two residents stopped to look at the flag lowered and blowing lightly in the breeze. 

Maguire was killed in the line of duty Sunday night, responding to an armed robbery attempt at Kohl's Department Store.
