LGBTQ Fundraiser Planned For Tonight

WOBURN —The Family Equality Council and The Rainbow Initiative are hosting a fundraising event tonight at Jump On In, an indoor inflatable and jumping facility at 470 Wildwood Ave. All proceeds go to International Family Equality Day in Somerville, which will be held on May 7.

The day will celebrate LGBTQ families around the world. This year's theme is 'Love Makes a Family," to promote safety and welcoming of LGBTQ families in their communities.

Tonight's fundraiser will be held from 6:00-8:00pm. Tickets are $15 for kids, which include two hours of jumping and hames, along with a slice of pizza and a drink. The cost for parents is $5 for two slices of pizza and a drink.

The Family Equality Council is national advocacy organization committed to securing family equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer parents, guardians and allies.

The Rainbow Initiative is a Boston-area group that works to provide educational opportunities to communities about and for LGBTQ families.
