POLICE LOG: Bicyclist Injured by Car Door, Credit Card Stolen

At 8:25 a.m. police and emergency personnel responded to 415 Main Street on a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a cyclist. The car was parked and the cyclist was passing the driver’s side door when the operator opened it, causing the female on the bicycle to collide with the door. This forced her down onto the street and caused injury. She was treated on scene and transported to Lahey Clinic in Burlington.

At 4:50 p.m. police responded to a Todd Road location on a report of a stolen credit card. Caller said she was not sure if her debit card was stolen or lost in Woburn or at her work in Belmont. She went to do some banking on April 16 and found the card was missing and she checked her account and found multiple charges on her account and various area stores. Most of the charges were on April 15. About $100 in charges made.
At 5:56 p.m. a woman came to the lobby to report a stolen bicycle. The bike was described as a red and yellow Magna bicycle. The woman stated her son parked the bike at the Joyce Middle School on the right side of the building that morning. There was no lock on the bike and when he went to retrieve it after school it was gone.
