POLICE LOG: Man Assaulted at Lowes Over Possible Mis-Identification

At 1:30 pm. Police responded to Lowes on a call of assault.
Caller said when he was in the store he was approached by a white male with black hair who identified himself as "PJ" who came up to him and said they had unfinished business. The caller said he told PJ that he didn’t know him but PJ insisted he knew the caller and punched him in the jaw with a closed fist.

The caller identified a man who was with PJ but he said he didn’t know PJ but had picked him up in Woburn Center and offered him money to help transport heavy materials.
Other Incidents
April 18-
At 6:29 p.m. police responded to the area of Main Street and Richardson Street on a report of a fight in progress. When police arrived witnesses pointed out a man they said was involved. The man said he had confronted a woman because she had sold his daughter, who is a recovering addict, heroin. He said she also owed him $55 that he had leant her.
Police spoke to the woman who said she and the other man were friends and they had a disagreement that turned physical. She didn’t wish to pursue any charges. Neither of them was injured.
April 19-
At 11:41 a.m. Police responded to Scoreboards on a report of a disturbance. The caller said a male and two female customers were complaining about food they were served the night before. He said the male demanded the female server’s name and when the caller refused to provide it he became irate. They left once they were informed police had been called.
April 22-
At 1:45 p.m. a woman came to the station to make a theft report. She said she resides with a man and is his caretaker and that he is in hospice care. She said that on April 13 a nurse from the Middlesex East Visiting Nurse Hospice came to perform duties and that she stole two boxes of Fentanyl patches from the residence. She said the nurse, who she knew only as Shannon, is no longer with the organization.
Boxes valued $100 total.
At 2:12 p.m. police responded to Extended Stay Hotel on a report of a disturbance. Police met with the caller, a woman staying at the hotel. She said that someone knocked on her door and when she answered a man walked right in. She said she didn’t know him and that he said he was “there for his appointment.” She ran out of the room and went to the front desk. The man fled in a blue Honda Odyssey.
The man called the hotel to complain about his “appointment” and told the manager he was going to call the police. When the manager said they were currently at the hotel he hung up before police could talk to him.
