POLICE LOG: Rock Thrown Through House Window While Couple Watched TV

At 9:35 p.m. police responded to a Center Street residence on a report of a rock being thrown through a window. Police spoke to the homeowners who said they were watching T.V. in the living room when the window and screen were suddenly knocked out by a rock about the size of a baseball. The rock struck a wall in the house and caused a hole.
The caller said he went outside and saw a male in a hooded sweatshirt standing about four houses down staring at him. The caller said the male had a ponytail in a bun in the back of his head.

Police checked the area but did not find anyone matching the description.
Total damage to the window, wall and screen valued at about $320.

April 25-
At 4:13 p.m. a woman came to the lobby to report identity fraud. She said that she received a letter from the IRS stating someone filed a tax return with her social security number. She said she never got her money back and has to pay every year.
April 26-
At 4:43 p.m. police responded to 300 Mishawum Road on a report of larceny. An employee told police that on Monday April 22 at about 3:30 p.m. a red pickup truck was caught on camera behind the store stealing two bundles of crushed cans worth $125 each. Suspect described as a white male with a long beard.
At 11:18 a.m. police responded to an Auburn Street location on a report of vandalism. The caller stated that her 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe had been vandalized with purple spray paint during the overnight hours. Police checked the vehicle and saw purple spray paint on the driver side door and front fender.
At 11:53 a.m. police responded to Georges Auto Body on Jefferson Avenue on a report of tagging. The caller, a manager, showed police the side of the building that was spray painted with the word “Loudpack.” Police noted that the paint, a distinctive purple, was used in a tagging incident of a motor vehicle that night on Auburn Street.
April 27-
At 2:10 p.m. police responded to Lowes on a report of a stolen iPad. The caller said he was shopping and checked out at 1:40 p.m. and when he returned to his vehicle he noticed he left is iPad at the checkout aisle. When he returned it was no longer there. Lowes has surveillance but stated it needs a letter from the police department to release it.
At 6:24 p.m. police responded to a Montvale Avenue apartment on a report of vandalism. The caller said that when she went to her vehicle she noticed the passenger side windshield wiper bent upwards. She said the day before the vehicle was in good condition. The repair of the wiper cost $30.
April 28-
At 9:03 p.m. police responded to Target on a report of a larceny of a pocketbook. Police spoke with the caller who said she came to the store at 7 p.m. with her daughter to shop. She placed her Coach Handbag inside her shopping carriage and as she went through the store left it unattended a few times. When she went to purchase her items she realized it was gone.
The caller had already called and cancelled her credit cards. Other items stolen included the $400 bag, a $300 Nook Tablet and her driver license.
