At 8:19 p.m. police responded to a Montvale Avenue residence on a report of past larceny.  Police spoke to the caller who said someone stole two television sets and two bottles of prescription drugs.

Police asked the caller if he had any idea who might have done the theft and he said he did. He said he believed it was the daughter of his two friends, who he had let borrow his vehicle a while back on the condition she “stop doing drugs.” She did not stop but kept the car and the ring of keys also had a key to the caller’s apartment.

On this day at about 2:30 p.m. the caller’s girlfriend came to the apartment and found the suspect there with an unidentified black male. Rather than kicking them out the girlfriend left with them still in the apartment. When the caller came home at 8:30 p.m. he discovered the theft.

Police said they would check local Pawn Shops for the televisions and advised the caller to change his locks.
