At 8:18 p.m., a business owner flagged down an officer in Woburn Center to report a break-in at his business. The man reported that he left his office and building and locked all the doors around 8:30 the previous evening. When he arrived in the morning, the front door was secure but the office door appeared to have been forced open. He reported a laptop valued at $1,000 and $300 in cash stolen. An interior door that can only be unlocked from the inside was found unlocked. An employee in the building between 8:45 p.m. and midnight said he secured all doors when he left. He said he did not go upstairs to the office.
