POLICE LOG: Van Broken Into and Over 1.9K in Items Stolen

At 11:14 a.m. police responded to a business 10 Draper Street for a report of a breaking and entering of a company vehicle. Police spoke with the caller show shed them a 2003 GMC Safari van which had a shattered passenger window and a broken handle on the right-side door. The van had been parked in the company lot over the weekend when the damage occurred. A Cat6 Plenum cable, track jacks and patch panels worth $1,324.55 and a HP laptop worth $587 were stolen.

Other Incidents
April 27-
At 11:49 a.m. police responded to Christine’s Deli for a reported attempted breaking and entering. The owner said the window on the south side of the building had the screen cut out. He stated they normally leave the window open at night for air to get in and that morning he noticed it was cut.
It does not appear entrance was gained since the window was small. No other damage reported.
April 29-
At 11:47 a.m. a man came to the station to report that he had an interaction with a neighbor that morning and felt threatened. He said he was out taking pictures of the fence that divides his property from his neighbor’s property when he was approached by a male neighbor. He said the neighbor stated “What are you taking pictures to file a complaint? Go ahead I’ll bury you.” The man said this comment made him feel threatened and that he thought the threat was physical. Police advised him of his rides to proceed with a harassment prevention order.
