POLICE LOG: Woburn Man's Gas Tank Punctured

July 30 – At 2:08 p.m., an Inwood Drive resident reported vandalism to his car’s gas tank. According to police, two holes were drilled in the tank and gas was drained. Damage is estimated at $1,800.

Other Incidents:

July 29 –

At 2:05 p.m., two Woburn women reported the theft of jewelry. According to police, the women were out of town for several days and returned home to realize that gold and diamond jewelry worth over $10,000 was missing from the home. Police are investigating evidence found at the home.   

July 30 –

At 9:16 a.m., police responded to a two-car accident involving a tractor-trailer truck on New Boston Street. According to police, the truck was taking a right-hand turn when a car snuck in beside it to also take a right. The vehicles collided in the intersection, said police.

At 9:38 a.m., a former West Cummings Park business employee reported being threatened over the phone. According to police, the woman said gossip precipitated the threat.

At 12:19 p.m., police were called to a two-car accident on Washington Street. According to police, one driver was given a warning for failure to yield.

At 3:05 p.m., a Woburn woman reported ongoing harassment from her neighbors.

At 3:34 p.m., police were dispatched to a Prospect Street apartment for a report of a dispute. According to police, a couple told officers they argued over some e-mails the man received from other women. Police reported the argument was not physical in nature and that both parties agreed they had cooled down and could remain in the home.

At 3:57 p.m., police responded to a two-car accident on Washington Street near Hogan Tire. There were no reported injuries. According to police, one driver was cited for failure to yield to oncoming traffic.  

At 5:15 p.m., police were dispatched to a two-car accident on Washington Street at Utica Street.
