POLICE LOG: Woman Reports Money Stolen at Work, Man Threatened by Ex

The following is an excerpt from the Woburn Police Department log. Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log.

June 25-

At 10:35 a.m. police responded to Kyocera, 35B Cabot Road, on a report of past larceny. Police spoke to the caller who said she was recently the victim of two workplace thefts. She said the office has an open floor plan with cubicles and about seventy people would have access to her desk. She said that on June 20 while she was at lunch someone took two $100 bills from her purse. On June 21 she again left her purse behind while going to lunch and someone took another $100 bill.

At 3:41 p.m. a caller from the Extended Stay hotel at 831 Main Street reported that his ex-girlfriend threatened to come up to the area from Tennessee and kill him. The former couple is currently in a custody dispute over their 12 year old son. The caller said she recently sent the child to him after saying she couldn’t handle him anymore and she became upset after he set up a hearing to gain custody. The caller said he wasn’t really afraid that she will attempt to harm him. Police advised him of his rights for a protective order.
