Two People Taken to Winchester Hospital After Rollover in Woburn

Two people were taken to Winchester Hospital following a rollover on Route 128 in Woburn Saturday evening, according to State Police Lt. Daniel Richard.

Two people were taken to Winchester Hospital following a rollover on Route 128 in Woburn Saturday evening, according to State Police Lt. Daniel Richard.

At 5:38 p.m., State Police responded to a car rollover on Route 128 northbound, south of Washington Street, according to Richard. 

Police declined to comment on whether speed, alcohol, drugs or texting played a factor in the rollover. Richard said the incident is currently being investigated by State troopers from the Danvers Barracks.

A pair of people in the vehicle were taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries, according to Richard. Additional details about the injured were not immediately available, according to police.

It is unclear if anyone else was in the vehicle with the two injured people.

At least four State Police cruisers were on scene, including a canine cruiser, as well as Woburn Fire and Ambulance, according to Richard. 

The scene was cleared in about an hour, according to Richard.
