Three Woburn Businesses Named Boston Globe Top Workplaces

WOBURN, MA — Three Woburn businesses were named among the best places to work in Massachusetts Wednesday in the latest edition of the Boston Globe's annual "Best Workplaces" special issue.

Triverus Consulting, NEWPRO and STR were named to the 2021 list of the state's 150 top employers.

Triverus Consulting, an IT consulting company, ranked 3rd-best among the state's small companies, those with 50-99 employees. This is the company's first year on the newspaper's ranking.

NEWPRO was ranked the 42nd-best among medium companies, those with 100-249 employees. This is the residential remodeling company's first year ranked.

STR (formerly Systems & Technology Research), was ranked 26 among the Bay State's large companies, those with 250 to 999 employees. The defense research and development company was ranked 16th last year and has been on the list for five years.

STR has 435 Massachusetts and 513 United States employees. NEWPRO has 185 employees, all in Massachusetts. Triverus has 56 employees in Massachusetts and 68 nationwide.

The Boston Globe worked with the Pennsylvania-based "employee research and consulting firm" Energage to anonymously survey employees for the 2021 ranking.
