WOBURN, MA — An aggressive group of turkeys have drawn recent media attention after long harassing community members in Woburn.

WBZ-TV spotlighted the turkey problem late last week, speaking with residents who said they’ve been bothered by the birds.

The turkeys have harassed Woburn community members in their homes, in their cars and on the sidewalk. The behavior, WBZ-TV reported, may be due to people feeding the turkeys or allowing easy access to bird feeders.

WBZ News Radio’s Matt Shearer was similarly in Woburn in recent days to get his own look at the issue.

“If you thought the people of Massachusetts were aggressive, wait until you meet our turkeys,” he said in a video initially shared to Tik Tok.
