WEATHER UPDATE: Thunderstorms Possible in Woburn This Afternoon

Residents could be in for another bout with showers and thunderstorms, some of which could produce “heavy rainfall”, this afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service, showers and thunderstorms are likely in Woburn this afternoon, mainly before 1 p.m., then scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Weather forecasters report a 60 percent chance of rain. Conditions are expected to be partly sunny, with a high temperature eclipsing 80 degrees.

The rain continues into this evening with a 20 percent chance of showers after midnight and patchy fog after 2 a.m. Conditions are expected to be mostly cloudy with a low temperature near 67 degrees.

The punches keep rolling as the National Weather Service is expecting more rain to make its way through the region again on Wednesday.
