Christmas tree collection will begin in Woburn next week and resume on Jan. 17

WOBURN, MA — Woburn residents needing to get rid of their 2022 Christmas trees will have options to do so beginning next week through the city’s Christmas tree collection program.

Trees will be picked up with regular curbside waste collection on Monday, Jan. 2 through Friday, Jan. 6. Tree pickup services will run again from Jan. 17 through Jan. 21.

Residents should place their tree curbside and ensure it is not buried under any snow or ice.

Trees should not be bagged and all decorations should be removed, as noted on Woburn’s trash and recycling webpage.

Residents must place all waste curbside by 7 a.m. on their scheduled waste pickup day.
