Woburn Eyes New Ferullo Field Playground
The city Recreation Department is currently running a survey seeking feedback on priorities for a new playground.

WOBURN, MA — Ferullo Field in Woburn may soon have a new inclusive playground following a currently ongoing process by the Woburn Recreation Department.
The department shared a call for feedback earlier this month seeking feedback on community desires for a new park. Community members can either complete an online survey here or attend a planning meeting set for Tuesday, Oct. 25.
That meeting will take place at Spence Farm at 41 Wyman St. from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., as noted in the Recreation Department’s announcement.

“We want to hear from the users of the playgrounds regarding what type of playground features are important to you and your child especially from an inclusive standpoint,” the Recreation Department said.
The inclusive playground goal aims to construct a playground that invites and accommodates children of all abilities.

Envisioned work on a new playground is the latest in a series of possible projects at Ferullo Field, which sits off Main Street near School Street in Woburn.
Officials have separately indicated interest in using potential grant funding from the nonprofit Stanton Foundation to augment Woburn's existing dog park at the field.
