Woburn High Gymnast Excels At National Tournament

According to the Woburn Daily Times Chronicle, Woburn Memorial High senior Kelly Doherty should be patting herself on the back, having placed fifth in the All-Around Competition at the National High School Gymnastics Association Senior Invitational in Florida a few weeks ago - between May 15 and May 17.

Evidently, she took particular pride in helping the Massachusetts state team place second overall.

“It was a blast competing with girls I have gone against for years,” Doherty told the source. “We all got along so well. We came together as Team Mass and did really well at Nationals. There were so many good gymnasts there, and I was just happy to hit two solid meets.”
