Woburn To Hold 5-11 Coronavirus Vaccine Clinic Nov. 20
Students 5 and older can get the Pfizer vaccine at the high school Nov. 20.
WOBURN, MA — Woburn students 5- to 11-years-old will be able to get the coronavirus vaccine at a city clinic Nov. 20, the city said Friday.
The clinic will be held in the Woburn High School auditorium from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Students will be able to get the Pfizer vaccine, which is approved for everyone 5 and older.
"Increased vaccination rates are the most important tool to controlling and ending the Covid 19 pandemic in our city and across the country," the city said. "Furthermore, the MA Board of Education has indicated that an 80% vaccination rate of students and staff is one of the important pre-requisites for lifting masking requirements in our schools."

Students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to get vaccinated. Pre-registration is required and limited to 400 students, first-come, first-served.

There is no charge for the vaccine.
Masks are required and students should wear short sleeves so that the upper arm can be easily accessed.
