Woburn Police Seize Fentanyl, Crack Cocaine, Arrest 2 In Drug Bust

Police said a State Police K-9 unit helped locate drugs in a vehicle on Wednesday as part of an undercover operation.

WOBURN, MA — Two people are facing drug trafficking charges after detectives found crack cocaine and fentanyl in an undercover operation earlier this week, Woburn Police said on Thursday.

The arrests took place on Wednesday night, police said, when Woburn Police personnel worked with a Massachusetts State Police K-9 unit to find multiple packages of drugs hidden in a vehicle.

Police said they found 120 grams of fentanyl and more than 110 grams of crack cocaine. They said said multiple packages “were packaged for distribution."

Police said they also seized packages of marijuana during the arrests.

Police did not publicly identify the individuals they arrested. Police said, though, that they are facing charges related to trafficking and distributing fentanyl and crack cocaine.
