Woburn Preliminary Election: Galvin, Pedrini Advance

With only one race on the ballot, voter turnout was low Tuesday. Just 3,460, or 13.6%, of Woburn's registered voters cast ballots.

WOBURN, MA — Woburn Mayor Scott Galvin will face Elizabeth F. Pedrini in the Nov. 5 general election, following Tuesday's, city-wide preliminary election to narrow the field of three candidates to two. Kerstin J. Lochrie was the odd candidate out.

With only one race on the ballot, voter turnout was low Tuesday. Just 3,460, or 13.6 percent, of Woburn's registered voters cast ballots.
