Libraries across Massachusetts are participating in Welcoming Week, an initiative that encourages us to celebrate diversity in our communities and be more inclusive to new Americans. Each and every one of us has the power to help others, regardless of their background, to be seen, embraced, welcomed, and included. WPL is celebrating in a few ways:

Drop in anytime September 13-18 and visit our map! Mark where you or your ancestors came from before moving to the United States. We are excited to see how much of the world is represented in Woburn.
Resources
We will have displays and reading lists for all age groups to learn about the immigrant and refugee experience.
Stop by the reference area to get more information on how the library can help you feel more welcomed in the Woburn community. Ask about our ESL/ELL and language resources, voter registration, and paths to become a citizen.
