2 Arrested After Shots Fired Incident In Worcester

One of the males is a juvenile.

WORCESTER, MA — Two males were arrested in Worcester on Thursday in connection with a shots-fired incident that took place on Sept. 26, according to police.

Officers responded to an alert for shots fired on Piedmont Street, where they found several rounds. A juvenile was arrested in connection with the incident on Thursday, according to the Worcester Police Department.

Alexander Cruz-Abreau, 18, was also charged in connection with the incident, after a search warrant for a home on Preston Street uncovered an untraceable ghost gun with a machine gun conversion kit and a loaded magazine.

Cruz-Abreau was charged with Possession of a Firearm, Possession of a Machine Gun, Possession of Ammunition without FID and Improper Storage of a Firearm.
