2 Men Charged After Shooting In Worcester Left 1 With Gunshot Wound
Both men were carrying firearms without a license, according to police.

WORCESTER, MA — Two men are facing firearms charges after a shooting incident in Worcester left one of them with injuries, according to police.
Officers responded to Boys & Girls Club Way shortly before 6 p.m. on Wednesday following a shooting alert, according to the Worcester Police Department. Willie Watson, 22, was charged after officers discovered an unlicensed firearm, and shortly after, Chance Toney, 21, was charged when arriving at the hospital with a gunshot wound, police said.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers found a firearm and bullet holes in multiple places. When officers approached Watson, he began running. He was later arrested and police said he was found to be carrying a loaded gun, although he did not have a license to carry a firearm.

Shortly after, Toney arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound. His injuries were not considered life-threatening.
After an investigation, police said that officers discovered that Toney was also at the scene of the shooting and armed. He also did not possess a license to carry a firearm.

The investigation is ongoing, according to Worcester police.
Both men are facing multiple charges. Toney is charged with Carrying a Firearm Without a License, Possessing an Untraceable Firearm and a Warrant; while Watson was charged with Carrying a Firearm Without a License, Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm, Possession on a Large Capacity Firearm with a Feeding Device, Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card, Carrying a Loaded Firearm Without a License, Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct and Disturbing the Peace.
