SUV Ran Red Light, Hit 2 Pedestrians In Worcester

Both victims are expected to survive.

WORCESTER, MA —Two pedestrians were hit by a vehicle on Park Avenue in Worcester on Thursday afternoon.

Police said the driver of an SUV did not stop at the red light, hitting a male and a female victim while they were attempting to cross the street. Both victims suffered serious leg injuries but are expected to survive, according to the Worcester Police Department.

Police said they are investigating while the driver did not stop and if he will be cited as a result.
