WORCESTER, MA—Heather Day, a Jill of all trades, lives in Worcester with her husband and a cat named Peter Criss. She currently works as a food artist, and considers herself still not grown up at age 45.

Weirdest habit: I stick my tongue out when I'm concentrating on my work.
