Auburn HS Athletic Director Allegedly Gave 'Obscene Material' To Child
An athletic director from Auburn High School was arrested for allegedly giving "obscene material" to a child.
WORCESTER COUNTY, MA - The Auburn Police Department released a statement stating that Curtis Field, 29, the now-former athletic director at Auburn High School, turned himself into the police for allegedly disseminating obscene material to a minor.
Field was brought to Worcester District Court and was arraigned on the charge. He was released on $500 cash bail with conditions that he stay away from any victims and from Auburn and Spencer Schools.
The local public school administration asked the Auburn police to investigate a report of concerning online activity by a staff member. The police issued an arrest warrant after an extensive investigation, and Field, a resident of Vernon, CT, turned himself in.

The superintendent of Auburn Public Schools, Beth Chamberland, released a statement to families saying Field was placed on administrative leave.
