Back To School: Worcester 2025-2026 School Calendar

WORCESTER, MA — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Worcester, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day.

The first day of school for most students in Worcester is August 25. The first day for pre-k and kindergarten is August 28.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. Here is the list of dates to know for the 2025-2026 school year:

First Day: August 25

Thanksgiving Break: November 26 to November 28

Holiday Break: December 24 to January 2

Winter Vacation: February 16 to February 20

Spring Break: April 21 to April 24

Last Day: June 12
