Beloved Bakery Eyeing Central MA Opening

The French-inspired chain already has five locations in Massachusetts.

WORCESTER, MA — A popular bakery is eyeing an opening in Worcester.

Paris Baguette, which has five locations in Massachusetts with a dozen more in the works, is looking to open a storefront in the city. The South Korean multinational chain sells French-inspired pastries, breads and drinks.

"It's French-inspired and South Korean-born, and now operating as a neighborhood bakery cafe concept in the U.S. and Canada," said Nick Scaccio, Paris Baguette's Chief Development Officer. "So really an eclectic mix of the two."

"The diverse communities in the area really pay homage to where Paris Baguette got started from," said Scaccio.

He said it is a very active search process, and they hope to open a location in the city soon.

"Our brand mission, vision, and values — to have heart, nourish community, spread joy, and rise to the occasion," Scaccio said. "Our team really embodies those values, and that's a big part of what inspires us on a daily basis to be a part of so many great communities."
