Beloved Pretzel Shop Opens In Worcester

WORCESTER, MA — If you love pretzels, then you're in luck. The chain known for its handmade, Philadelphia-style soft pretzels has opened up in Worcester.

Philly Pretzel Factory officially started serving up soft pretzels in the city last week. The restaurant hosted a grand opening celebration.

The store is located at 490 Grafton St. and is one of more than 170 locations. But it is only the second one in Massachusetts. There is another Philly Pretzel Factory in Revere.

The eatery opened in the location of a former city staple, Wholly Cannoli. The cherished cannoli bakery closed its doors last summer after serving customers for almost 25 years.
