WORCESTER, MA — Worcester line Commuter Rail users will have to take buses approaching the Boston area this weekend due to maintenance work.

On Saturday only, buses will take over for trains between Framingham and South Station, serving the 11 stops in Natick, Wellesley, Newton and Boston. The MBTA will be upgrading signals on that stretch of track during the detour.

"At Wellesley Hills, passengers can connect with two bus services that will make all local stops through Back Bay or South Station (with the exception of Wellesley Farms and Lansdowne but including Riverside station on the Green Line)," the T advised riders.
