Crash In Worcester Leads To Man Charged With Carrying Ghost Gun
Worcester police officers responded to an accident on Saturday at around 7 p.m.
WORCESTER, MA — A crash in Worcester led to the arrest of a 21-year-old man.
Worcester police officers responded to Chandler Street for a report of an accident with an injury on Saturday at around 7 p.m. Officers saw a man lying in the road near a moped and debris scattered. The man, identified as Kayo Nascimento, was taken to the hospital.
Officers were given a cross-body bag that was removed from Nascimento, and found a ghost firearm inside, which means it was determined to be untraceable and had no serial number.

After an investigation, Worcester police officers determined that he did not have a license to carry.
Nascimento was charged with carrying a firearm without a license, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, improper storage of a firearm, carrying ammunition without an FID card and defacing the serial number of a firearm.
